Love the video, love the fun clothes, love the song! And I spy eyewear designers, Coco & Breezy! Remember when I did an interview post on them last year? From the looks of it, they've already had great success and I also heard their NY Fashion Week show was amazing. Hopefully I can get a follow up interview from them soon, but for now you can click here to see my previous posts on them!

Soooo if I didn't do a review on any other Spring '12 Fashion Week collection, I knew I HAD to do one on Kanye's. I've been anxious & excited to see what the rapper-turned-designer had in store for us, especially after hearing rumors stating that his show would include Maybachs and a collab with Giuseppe Zanotti. He veered away from the typical urban menswear that the world might've expected him to produce and came up with a super chic & sexy womenswear line entitled Dw. Dw is a tribute to his late mother, Donda West, who passed back in '07.
Before heading to Paris, 'Ye reportedly dropped nearly $22,000 on fabric and zippers at a store in London. I honestly feel like Kanye is one of the few artists that could transfer over to the fashion design realm successfully for the long-term because he clearly has deeper understanding of art in general. He & Gwen Stefani [of whom I'm also a fan when it comes to fashion design] are the only two musical artists I can think of that have that special talent. Thank-you, Kanye, for stepping out of the mold [Roca Wear/Sean John/Apple Bottoms/etc.] and proving that rappers can give us more than basic street wear!

They each have on a gold nameplate chains that say "Yeezi"....interesting. A bit Fall-ish on a lot of pieces [this collection is supposed to be for next Spring], but I overall liked the line. To have his premiere collection shown at Paris Fashion Week.....that's huge! I feel like he put Chanel Iman in a couple of the best looks on purpose, too!
